Mudcats and Wood Ducks Announce "Carolina Commuter Deal" Ticket Special

ZEBULON, N.C. - The Carolina Mudcats and Down East Wood Ducks have put their rivalry aside to introduce the all-new "Carolina Commuter Deal" ticket special for baseball fans all throughout Eastern North Carolina. This jointly announced special features discounted tickets for fans of either team when they follow their club to the opponent's stadium. 

Through the Carolina Commuter Deal, fans of the Mudcats will receive $2.00 off tickets purchased for applicable games featuring the Mudcats versus the Wood Ducks in Kinston, N.C. at Grainger Stadium. The Down East faithful, meanwhile, will have access to $8.00 box seat tickets when they come and watch the Wood Ducks play against the Mudcats at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, N.C. Fans looking to take advantage of this fun new plan, while also representing their favorite club on their rivals turf, can purchase their tickets both in person and online. 
Fans can redeem this discount offer on the day of an applicable game by simply requesting the Carolina Commuter Deal at each stadium's respective box office. Interested fans must be wearing their teams merchandise to qualify for the discount at either venue and will need to specifically mention the discount as well. Acceptable phrases include "I am here to watch the Mudcats beat the Wood Ducks," "I'm here for the Down East discount" and vice versa.
Participating fans can also access their discounted tickets online by using the appropriate price code and passwords while visiting each club's respective website. Mudcats fans can purchase their discounted tickets online at www.milb.com/down-east through the "Mudcats" price code with password "Muddy." Down East fans can access the Carolina Commuter Deal discount using the code "Wood Ducks" and password "DEWD" at www.carolinamudcats.com.
The Mudcats and Wood Ducks have a total of 20 head-to-head match-ups this season, including 10 games at Five County Stadium and 10 at Grainger Stadium in Kinston. The first such match-up is on Thursday, April 4 when both teams play their first game of the 2019 season at Grainger Stadium in Kinston. The Carolina Commuter Deal schedules includes:
