The Chattanooga Lookouts shut out the Columbus Clingstones to win 5-0 to clinch their fourth victory of the series.

In the bottom of the first inning, Hector Rodriguez drew a lead-off walk and scored on an Edwin Arroyo double. Rodriguez struck again in the second, smacking a single to drive home Jack Rogers.

Up 3-0, Rodriguez continued his hot streak, belting his second home run of the season. Rodriguez now has a 12-game hitting streak and is hitting .447 (21-for-47) with two home runs, eight RBIs, and 10 runs scored.

Staked to an early lead, starting pitcher Jose Acuna spun a gem. Acuna only allowed two hits in five scoreless innings with six strikeouts to lower his ERA to 2.25 for the year. Jared Lyons followed Acuna and threw three shutout innings of his own. Reliever Trevor Kuncl entered in the ninth to close the game with a shutout inning.

After an off day tomorrow, the team travels to Montgomery to face the Biscuits for the first time this season. The team returns home on Tuesday, May 6. Tickets for that series and the rest of the season can be found on Lookouts.com.
