The 2017 Major League Baseball playoffs are unfolding and there are some familiar faces on postseason rosters. Alexi Amarista: The 28-year-old was on the Chihuahuas' opening day roster in 2016 and bounced between El Paso and San Diego for the rest of that season. Amarista signed with the Colorado Rockies in 2017 and went 1-for-1 in their National League Wild Card Game loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Rey Fuentes (pictured above): The 26-year-old was the first batter in Chihuahuas history on April 3, 2014. He signed with the Diamondbacks in December 2016 and was on the field with Arizona for 64 games in the regular season. He was on the Diamondbacks' roster for the National League Wild Card Game vs. the Rockies.
Cameron Maybin: The 30-year-old joined the Chihuahuas on a rehab assignment in 2014, playing in 15 games. Maybin helped the Houston Astros beat the Boston Red Sox in the 2017 American League Division Series, appearing in two games. He is on the Astros' American League Championship Series roster against the New York Yankees.
Brandon Morrow: The 33-year-old appeared in one game for El Paso in 2015 and 12 more in 2016. He began this season with the Triple-A Oklahoma City Dodgers and joined the Los Angeles Dodgers in late May. Morrow pitched in the first two games of the National League Championship Series and didn't allow a run or hit to the Chicago Cubs.
