The El Paso Chihuahuas scored four runs on four extra base hits in their final team at-bat of Game 1, but fell to the Sacramento River Cats 7-4. Hunter Renfroe and Diego Goris both hit two-run home runs in the rally.
Former Chihuahua Casey Kelly pitched 6.1 innings and got the win for Sacramento. His battery mate and fellow former Chihuahua Tim Federowicz went 3-for-3 with three RBIs.
Franchy Cordero hit his 16th triple in the loss, the highest total in the Pacific Coast League.

The Chihuahuas pitched their sixth team shutout of the season in Game 2, defeating Sacramento 1-0. The lone run came on an RBI fielder's choice by Nick Buss in the bottom of the fourth.
Chihuahuas starter Chris Huffman pitched 5.1 shutout innings and picked up his second Triple-A win. Huffman has allowed only two runs in his last 16.2 innings.
The Chihuahuas are 5-7 in doubleheader games this season.
