To commemorate the occasion, the first 2,000 fans through the turnstiles for Game 1 of the Texas League South Division Series, set for Wednesday, September 5, will receive a Hooks José Altuve Gold Rush Jersey, presented by CITGO. First pitch is 6:35 and Whataburger Field gates open at 5:05.
The best-of-five division series continues Thursday night with another 6:35 contest at Whataburger Field. Celebrate with Thirsty Thursday and College Night, featuring discounted beer and soda, and $5 berm tickets for students with a valid ID.

If Corpus Christi wins the Texas League South second-half race, the Hooks will host Game 5 of the TLSDS, if necessary. The winner-take-all bout is slated to begin at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday, September 9.
The Hooks are currently 61-35 (.635), which stands as the second-best record in Minor League Baseball. The Texas League South first-half champs are 34-16 (.680) at Whataburger Field, having won 11 of their 14 series in the Sparkling City.
