Career Highlights: 2018 - Entered season as Astros No. 25 prospect, according to MLB.com. 
2017 - Went 5-4 with 3.93 ERA in 25 games (18 starts) between Quad Cities and Buies Creek. Ranked 5th in Astros system with 117 strikeouts, while walking just 39 batters (3 strikeouts per walk). Held left-handed hitters to .215 BAA (79 AB) and right-handed hitters to .235 BAA (324 AB). Averaged 14 strikeouts per-9 innings with Quad Cities and 8.5 strikeouts per-9 innings with Buies Creek. Went at least 4 innings in each Quad Cities appearance and never allowed more than 1 earned run. Finished time in Midwest League with career-high 6 innings and 11 K (1 ER, 4 H) in victory on May 4 vs. Fort Wayne. Ranked 2nd in strikeouts among Midwest League pitchers when promoted to Buies Creek. Made Carolina League debut on May 11 vs. Salem and struggled over 3 1/3 innings (7 ER, 9 H, 2 HR). Held 7.79 ERA (17 1/3 IP) in 4 appearances (3 starts) during May. Bounced back with stellar June (1.80 ERA, 20 IP) over 5 appearances (4 starts). Began month with 6 innings of 1-run ball (4 H) on June 5 vs. Myrtle Beach. Held 3.04 ERA (23 2/3 IP) during July and 5.64 ERA (22 1/3 IP) in August. Threw 6 scoreless frames (4 H) on August 30 vs. Myrtle Beach. Excelled on the road with Buies Creek, recording 2.05 ERA (30 2/3 IP) as compared to 6.24 ERA (53 1/3 IP) at home.
2016 - Made professional debut on June 20 at Brooklyn, going 1 2/3 IP while allowing a run. Went 2 2/3 scoreless innings on June 24 vs. Vermont. Placed on disabled list July 2 and missed remainder of campaign.
Career Notes: Averaging 9.9 strikeouts per-9 innings.
College Notes: Recorded a 3.14 ERA in 53 appearances (48 starts) in 3-year career at Michigan. Had 290 strikeouts in 258 1/3 innings pitched. All-Big Ten 2nd team selection in junior season. Struck out 100 batters in 2016, which ranks 5th all-time at Michigan for a single season. Ranks 5th all-time among Wolverine pitchers with a 256 career strikeouts. Led Bay City Western High School to first state championship in 2013, going 12-0 with 0.54 ERA in senior season.

2017 - Started year in extended spring training. Hit .304 with 12 home runs and 69 RBI in 90 games between Quad Cities and Buies Creek. Ranked 4th among Astros farmhands in batting average. Held a 1.125 OPS with Quad Cities. Named a Midwest League Midseason All-Star. Played in SiriusXM Futures Game, going 1-1 with an RBI. Hit .360 with runners in scoring position (100 AB). During time in Midwest League from May 15-June 18, led circuit in homers and RBI. Hit .377 in May (53 AB. 2 HR, 9 RBI) and .345 in June (58 AB, 7 HR, 24 RBI). Had stretch of 5 consecutive multi-hit games from June 2-7, going 10-for-18 with 3 home runs. Lone multi-homer game came on June 7 at Wisconsin in consecutive at-bats during the 3rd and 5th innings. Made Buies Creek debut on June 23 at Winston-Salem, belting a solo homer in a 3-0 win. From time of promotion to Carolina League, ranked 6th among circuit leaders in RBI. With Buies Creek, hit .364 vs. left-handed pitching (66 AB, 1 HR, 12 RBI) and .241 against right-handers (158 AB, 2 HR, 24 RBI). August was finest month in Carolina League, hitting .303 (109 AB) with 2 home runs and 20 RBI. In total, played 41 games in left field and 22 games at first base. Did not commit error at first base and committed just 1 error in outfield.
2016 - Made DSL Astros debut on August 4. Recorded 3 multi-hit games.

Averaged 11.9 strikeouts per-9 innings. Held left-handed hitters to a .149 BAA (141 AB) and righties to a .249 BAA (189 AB). Held opposing hitters to .199 BAA in Midwest League.
