Blue Jays offering "Eclipse" Pricing Tuesday

Jose Reyes and Casey Janssen will play for the D-Jays as well
April 14, 2014

DUNEDIN, FL - On calendars across the country, Tuesday has a red circle around it to signify Tax Day. However, it's another red circle that has the attention of North America as April 15th marks the "Blood Moon" eclipse. Early Tuesday morning, the moon will be eclipsed by the Earth's shadow. The total lunar eclipse will be visible across the Western Hemisphere.

According to local meteorologists, here in Dunedin and across the Eastern Time Zone, the total lunar eclipse will last for 78 minutes, from 3:06 a.m. to 4:24 a.m.

To commemorate this 78-minute lunar event, the Dunedin Blue Jays are offering tickets to Tuesday's game for just 78% of the original price. That means that $7 tickets will be just $5.46 as the D-Jays take on the Daytona Cubs.

Along with this "stellar" deal, fans can catch a glimpse of a few stars Tuesday night. Toronto Blue Jays SS Jose Reyes and RHP Casey Janssen will be in Dunedin on rehab assignments and are scheduled to play Tuesday evening.

First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Fans can stop by the Dunedin Blue Jays ticket office or call 727-733-9302 and by visiting DunedinBlueJays.com.
