The SeaWolves tied the game in the home half of the third against Baysox starter Bruce Zimmerman.
Erie then took the lead in the fifth. With two outs, Montgomery walked and stole second base. Gibson followed and beat out an infield single and on a throwing error, Montgomery scored for a 2-1 advantage.

Burrows (10-8) was superb for the SeaWolves in a quality start. He worked seven innings, allowing a run on six hits with no walks and six strikeouts.
Zimmerman (1-1) took the loss for Bowie allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits with three walks and two strikeouts in five innings.
