Former Squirrels as of March 15, 2018
Steven Duggar:

  • Has had a breakthrough Spring Training and remains in heavy contention for an outfield spot on the opening day roster
  • Is tied with Mac Williamson with the second most HR's in ST
  • While with the Squirrels, Duggar had a 17-game hit streak, the longest in franchise history


Miguel Gómez:

  • Made his Major League debut for the Giants last season on 7/7
  • Prior to his promotion to the Big Leagues, Gomez led the Squirrels in most offensive categories including HR's, a .305 BA, 19 2B's and 38 RBI's
  • It has been reported that Gomez will fare as a utility infielder for the Giants with plus power

Josh Osich:

  • Osich remains one of the pitchers in Big League camp fighting for a position in the Giants bullpen for the 2018 season
  • Has not allowed a single run in six games and 7.0 innings of work this spring for SF
  • While with the Squirrels he compiled a total 35 record and a 3.49 ERA with 46 K's over 98.0 innings

Tyler Herb

  • After a breakout season with the Squirrels in 2017, Herb was placed on the Giants 40-man roster
  • As a Squirrel, Herb had a 2.76 ERA over 10 starts and 65.1 innings pitched
  • Made four appearances for the Giants this Spring tossing 5.0 innings and earning one save.



Aramis Garcia

  • Added to the Giants 40-man roster following the 2017 season
  • Enters the 2018 season ranked the #4 prospect according to Baseball America
  • Made the jump from San Jose (A+) to (AA) on 8/1 last season and had 12 doubles in 22 games
