Mighty Mussels Announce 2022 Schedule

FORT MYERS, Fla. (October 5, 2021) - The Mighty Mussels have announced their scheduled dates for the 2022 season.

After returning to the field for a 120-game season in 2021, the Mussels and their Low-A Southeast opponents will take part in a 132-games season in 2022. The Mussels will open the season at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater (PHI) on Friday, April 8.

The home opener at Hammond Stadium will take place on Tuesday, April 12 vs Jupiter (MIA). As was the case in 2021, the Mighty Mussels will play primarily six-games series from Tuesday through Sunday. They'll have every Monday off, with the exception of July 4.

The only other exception to the six-game series format is the week of July 19-24, which has been announced as All-Star Week. The Mussels will be off July 18-21 before heading to Dunedin (TOR) for a three-game series July 22-24.

The 2022 campaign wraps up on Sunday, September 11 vs St. Lucie (NYM). The 2022 playoff format has yet to be announced.
