The Fresno Grizzlies were working on all cylinders with a 14-0 win Thursday night over the Reno Aces. Fresno starter Mike Hauschild (7-7) picked up the win after twirling eight shutout innings, allowing two hits, walking one and striking out nine. Hauschild earned season-highs in innings and strikeouts. Reno starter John Omahen (0-1) suffered the loss in his Triple-A debut, throwing six and one-third innings, allowing six runs (earned), on 11 hits, walking two and striking out two. Despite the gem, Fresno cranked out 20 hits, nine for extra-bases. Also, each starter had at least one hit and one run, while eight of the nine batters recorded at least one RBI.

Grizzlies' Preston Tucker (4-for-6) spanked a home run (his eighth) and two doubles, while scoring four times. Tyler White (4-for-4) reached in all five of his plate-appearances, which included a home run (his fifth), two RBI and three runs. Alex Bregman (2-for-6) also homered (his fifth), and drove in three runs. He has recorded a hit in all eight of his Triple-A games. Tony Kemp (2-for-6), Colin Moran (2-for-4) and Teoscar Hernandez (2-for-5) all had two RBI in the effort.

Fresno's 20 hits were the second most on the season (21 versus Salt Lake) and the six doubles ties a season-high. The Grizzlies brought ten batters to the plate in both the bottom eighth and ninth, where they scored four and six runs, respectively.

Reymin Guduan hurled a perfect ninth, striking out one in the win. Hauschild also lowered his ERA to 2.71, second best in the PCL.
