New Video Boards Installed at Chukchansi Park This Week

Brand New Daktronics Video Boards Will Enhance Fan Experience
March 30, 2010

FRESNO, CA - The Fresno Grizzlies announced today that the organization is installing two new video boards over the left-center field wall this week. They will replace the original Chukchansi Park boards, which were removed over the course of the last two weeks.

The state-of-the-art, Daktronics LED boards will be a dramatic upgrade over the previous models, offering brilliant views of full-motion headshots, replays, interactive sponsor content, video graphics and player interviews. The primary board measures 24 feet wide by 18 feet high, while the replacement for the old matrix board measures roughly 30 feet wide by 10 feet high. That secondary board will also have full video capability, bringing a whole new level of information and entertainment to Grizzlies fans and Chukchansi Park event-goers.

"These exciting additions to Chukchansi Park are absolute game-changers when it comes to our ability to deliver even more entertainment and information to our fans," said Grizzlies Senior Vice President of Marketing Scott Carter. "The new video boards will certainly enhance our already stellar ballpark experience and add a new dimension to this phenomenal facility."

Daktronics, based out of Brookings, SD, is the world leader in dynamic audio-visual communication systems, having installed more integrated scoring and video systems than all other competitors combined. As the sports industry's foremost provider of video displays, Daktronics has created custom scoreboard panels for new Yankee Stadium, Citi Field, and Chase Field among many other high profile stadiums.

The Fresno Grizzlies open the home portion of their 2010 campaign on Friday, April 16th when they welcome the Portland Beavers to downtown Fresno.
