(Greensboro, NC) The Greensboro Grasshoppers announced today that they will unveil their new food truck, Hoppin' Hound Dogs, tomorrow September 8 outside the stadium at 11:00 AM at the Plaza Entrance. The truck will offer Certified Angus Beef gourmet hot dogs, as well as Italian sausages and brats.
"The food truck industry is growing at leaps and bounds and I believe our truck will be a very popular addition to the Greensboro market, "said Grasshoppers President and General Manager Donald Moore. "We look forward to participating in numerous festivals as well as providing catering services throughout the region. We also see this as another way to brand our name and presence in the community as we prepare for the 2017 season," Moore continued.
The Hoppin' Hound Dogs truck will be set up near the Main Stage in Downtown Greensboro for the National Folk Festival this Friday through Sunday. In addition to gourmet dogs and brats the truck will have side items such as macaroni and cheese, baked beans, seasoned curly fries, tater tots, grilled Bavarian pretzels, and funnel cake fries drizzled with chocolate sauce and powdered sugar.
