Frequently Asked Questions About First National Bank Field


Beer is available at all concession stands including the Bud Light Grandstand Bar; limit two beers (or two glasses of wine) per person, per purchase. North Carolina law prohibits the selling to or purchase of alcohol to minors under the age of 21. Each customer must present valid picture identification at the time of purchase. All beer sales will conclude with the first pitch of the middle of the 8th inning on a regular basis, however, Grasshopper management reserves the right to discontinue beer sales without notice and/or refuse the sale of beer to any individual. A Grasshoppers' staff member will gladly help arrange a ride for anyone who needs one. Alcohol is not permitted in Section (114).


Asking players for autographs is a baseball tradition and highly encouraged at First National Bank Field. For your safety, we ask that you seek autographs from the sides of both dugouts (Sections 112 and 110; and 103 and 105) from the time that the gates open until 30 minutes before game time. Players are not permitted to sign autographs during the game.


No beverages, food, coolers or containers may be brought into First National Bank Field.


Let us know whose special day it is! We will do our best to make your greeting memorable during the specified "Grasshoppers Birthday Inning". (Please note that this segment often continues into later innings of the game) This service is free of charge, however, all requests must be submitted by 9:00 a.m. the day of the game you wish to have your announcement seen. We encourage the use of cameras and video cameras at First National Bank Field. However, fans may not reproduce the game or interfere with any other fans enjoyment of the game.


There are three full-service concession stands as well as numerous vending carts located on the concourse sure to tempt your taste buds! No outside food or beverage is permitted inside the stadium.


No abusive language or any behavior that can be viewed as offensive to others will be tolerated anywhere at First National Bank Field. Fans are strictly prohibited from entering the playing field at any time. Failure to adhere to First National Bank Field policies will result in ejection from the stadium.


If you have any questions about First National Bank Field or need assistance, please visit our Guest Services booth, located on the concourse behind Section 110.


The Hoppers Yard merchandise store, Grasshoppers Box Office and concession stands (excluding the Bud Light Grandstand Bar) proudly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. There are also First National Bank ATMs located behind Section 108 for your convenience.


The Cone Health Family Section is located in Section 114 near the Rotary Play Park and designed for families and young children. Alcohol and inappropriate behavior are not permitted in this section.

Guilford County EMS and the Greensboro Police Department are on duty patrolling stadium areas at all times during the games to ensure your safety. Should you need assistance, please notify a Grasshoppers staff member or visit the First Aid Station, located behind Section 112 on the first base side.


Heads up! Foul balls and other objects leaving the playing field can be very dangerous. For your own safety, please pay attention to the field when the game is in progress. Any foul ball that is hit into the stands may be kept as a souvenir, however fans may not go outside of the park or onto the playing field to retrieve foul balls.


Gates at First National Bank Field open one hour prior to game time.


Gift certificates for Grasshoppers merchandise and tickets can be purchased in any increment at The Hoppers Yard souvenir shop.

Handicap seating is available behind the back row of the seating bowl in sections 101, 102, 103, 106, 107, 108, 109, 112, and 114. An elevator behind Section 107 is accessible for those fans with tickets for the suite level or Party Decks. The Edgeworth and Eugene gates offer handicap accessible entrances to First National Bank Field.


Handicap parking is available in the Edgeworth Street lot, located behind the Bud Light Grandstand Bar. For your convenience, we suggest purchasing your game tickets in advance, as there is no game ticket outlet available at that entrance.


The Rotary Play Park is located down the first base line and is specially designed to be kid friendly! For the safety of our play park guests, children must be 54" or under to enter. No food or drink is permitted inside the play area. Parents should not leave their children unattended.


Lawn seating is on a first come, first served basis. Fans are welcome to bring blankets into the lawn areas at First National Bank Field, however, lawn chairs, large umbrellas, wagons, carts, and balloons are not permitted.


Items can be turned in to, or retrieved from, the Guest Services booth located behind Section 110.


All the latest Hoppers gear can be found at The Hoppers Yard located on the main concourse behind home plate. The store is open throughout the game, with regular store hours from 10:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday. You can shop 24/7 in our online Hoppers Yard!


Paging services are only available in the case of an emergency. If you need a fan paged, please speak to a representative at the Guest Services booth.


Several parking lots surround the stadium on Grasshoppers game days, ranging from $4-$6. Parking is also available at the Bellemeade Street Parking Deck, just 1,500 feet away from the ballpark. (The parking deck is FREE after 6 pm until 9 pm. From 9 pm to 3 am, there is a $2 flat rate).


Requests for player and mascot appearances must be submitted in writing, at least three weeks in advance, to the Greensboro Grasshoppers community relations department.

In the event five innings of one game are not completed, your ticket may be good for any remaining 2020 regular season home game, based on availability. Your ticket may be exchanged at the Grasshoppers Box Office for a ticket of equal value, subject to availability. There will be no refunds issued.

When the game is officially delayed, play will continue as soon as weather permits. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. If the Grasshoppers cancel a game due to weather prior to gates opening, it will be posted immediately on


Children 12 and under, Senior Citizens 62+, and service members with a military ID over will receive $2 off the normal ticket price, unless otherwise specified.


For your safety, re-entry is not permitted into First National Bank Field for any reason. Fans will need to purchase another ticket in order to gain admittance back into the ballpark once they leave.


Restrooms are located throughout the concourse and are handicapped accessible. A family restroom is located near the First Aid Station on the first base side, behind section 112.


All fans and their bags will be screened upon entering First National Bank Field. For the safety of all guests, the following items are prohibited:

• Any outside food and beverage
• Weapons of any description, including firearms (weapons carried with a permit are also prohibited)
• Knives of any size
• Canes, chains or sticks of any length (non-medical use canes)
• Fireworks or any explosive
• Illegal drugs
• Laser pointers
• Pets (except service animals)


First National Bank Field prohibits smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, vaporizers and other similar devices except in designated smoking areas. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas in the Bud Light Grandstand Bar and at the suite level bar.


Fans with tickets for seats on the suite level or the Party Decks may use the stairs on either end of the concourse or the elevator located behind Section 107. Please retain your ticket to ensure your access to those areas.

Tickets that have been purchased and left for pick up at Will Call can be claimed at the Will Call tent, located near the main entrance (corner of Bellemeade and Edgeworth streets) of First National Bank Field. Proper identification is required to claim the tickets.
