Kannapolis broke the scoreless tie in the fourth inning when

Earlier in this series, Kannapolis shutout Greensboro, 1-0, in a game that began Sunday evening and concluded on Monday. The Grasshoppers earned a measure of revenge with a 2-0 shutout win of their own in Monday's regularly-scheduled game.
