Yard Goats Become First MILB Team in America to Win Best Ballpark Four Times by Ballpark Digest

Hartford, Conn- The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, has been informed by Ballpark Digest that Dunkin’ Donuts Park has been selected as the “Best Double-A Ballpark in America,” for the fourth time since opening in 2017. It is the first time that a minor league ballpark has won the award four times. In 2018, Dunkin’ Donuts Park became the first ballpark to repeat in back-to-back seasons. Dunkin’ Donuts Park was named “The Best Double-A Ballpark” in 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2022.

The Yard Goats have played in front of 23 sellouts in Hartford this season, and have attracted over 254,000 fans in 2022. In addition, the Yard Goats have sold out every game of the past five weekends (Friday-Saturday-Sunday). Dunkin’ Donuts Park has also played host to several Division I college baseball games, high school and legion contests, and a Cape Cod League game last week.

The Yard Goats became the first minor league baseball club in Connecticut to attract over 400,000 plus fans in consecutive seasons. The Yard Goats welcomed their one-millionth fan to Dunkin’ Donuts Park on June 22, 2019 becoming the fastest minor league team in New England to reach the mark.
