Warren G to Perform at Dunkin’ Park after Yard Goats Game

Iconic rapper, producer, entrepreneur, and cultural pioneer, Warren G to Perform in Salute to Fans and Sponsors Following Yard Goats Game on Friday, September 4th

Hartford, Conn- The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club, the Double-A Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, has announced that “Warren G” will perform a post-game concert at Dunkin’ Park following the Friday, September 4th Yard Goats game. Warren G, born Warren Griffin III, helped define the G-funk sound and West Coast hip-hop. Rising from Long Beach, California in the early 1990s, he cemented his legacy with the multi-platinum hit "Regulate," his collaboration with Nate Dogg that peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a generational anthem.

The concert was added in appreciation for all the wonderful fans and sponsors who continue to support the team in its 10th anniversary Yard Goats Baseball at Dunkin’ Park. The Yard Goats will host the Philadelphia Phillies affiliate that evening at 7:10 PM. Tickets for the September 4th game which include the post-game concert are on sale by calling 860-246-GOAT (4628), by visiting online at www.yardgoatsbaseball.com, or in person at the Click It or Ticket Box Office at Dunkin’ Park.

Across three decades, Warren G has sold millions of records worldwide and created a string of hits, including "This DJ," "Nobody Does it Better," "I Want It All", "Ain't No Fun," "Smokin' Me Out," and "Do You See". As a producer, he played a key role on Dr. Dre's The Chronic and Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle, including the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-recognized "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang."

He remains a bridge between classic and modern West Coast hip-hop, collaborating with current artists like Icewear Vezzo, Zoe Osama, and a host of the new generation talent, while touring internationally with Snoop Dogg and DJ Quik. From major festivals to national television appearances and viral collaborations, Warren G proves the "Regulator" remains a dynamic force in music, culture, and entrepreneurship.

“We’re excited to once again reward our fans with a fun post-game concert, as a thank you for the tremendous support as we celebrate playing our 10th season at Dunkin Park,” Yard Goats General Manager Mike Abramson said. “We’re excited to watch “Warren G” perform at our award winning ballpark.
