Hooks Roll Out 2018 Schedule

CORPUS CHRISTI - The Hooks' 2018 Texas League schedule was released Wednesday, and North Division members Northwest Arkansas and Arkansas comprise the opposition for the first six Whataburger Field games April 12-17.
The 2018 slate delivers more home-road balance by month than its predecessor, as Corpus Christi hosts 16 July games, 14 contests each in April, May, and August, and a dozen in June. As has been the case over the last decade, there are 24 total home interdivision games - six each - vs. the Naturals, Travelers, Springfield Cardinals, and Tulsa Drillers. The remaining 46 South Division games are divided among four-time defending champion Midland (16), Frisco (16), and San Antonio (14).

2018 is San Antonio's final Texas League campaign as the circuit's last founding member (1888) prepares for a move to Amarillo in advance of the 2019 season.
The Hooks begin their 14th season on Thursday, April 5, at Northwest Arkansas. Corpus Christi has home dates on Mother's Day (May 13) and Independence Day.
