CORPUS CHRISTI -- Hooks outfielders Domingo Santana and Michael Burgess will sign autographs and visit with fans between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the SPID at Nile Whataburger location Friday.

KFTX-FM has scheduled a live remote broadcast.

A portion of Friday's lunch proceeds benefits Goodwill Industries of South Texas. Bring your gently-used clothing items, place in the large fry box and pick up a voucher for a new 2013 Hooks/Goodwill t-shirt and a special offer coupon from Whataburger.

Santana, 21, was acquired by the Astros with Jarred Cosart, Josh Zeid and Jon Singleton for Hunter Pence in a July, 2011 trade. The Santo Domingo, D.R., resident was 2012 MVP at High-A Lancaster, where he led the JetHawks to a California League championship. Santana's 22 home runs top the Hooks and are fifth among Texas League players.

Burgess, 24, a native of Tampa, Fla., is in his seventh season as a professional. He's played in the Astros, Cubs and Nationals organizations. Burgess has homered 11 times and driven in 39 runs in 92 games this season.
