TL Umpires: Starr Wins Again

CORPUS CHRISTI - For an eighth straight year, the umpires' locker room at Whataburger Field has been voted the best in the Texas League.

Hooks Baseball Operations Manager Brad Starr has won the award nine times during his tenure in the Astros organization. Starr manages the officials dressing area and home clubhouse, while also overseeing visiting clubhouse manager Marcus Tramp.
"Brad consistently does superior work, and once again he's been recognized by the umpires for his efforts," Hooks VP/GM Michael Wood said. "He knows how to deliver exemplary service."
Voting among the 12 league umpires decides the annual winner.
