Captains’ 2024 Season-Opener Postponed Due to Rain

Lake County will host a season-opening doubleheader against West Michigan on Saturday.

EASTLAKE, OH – Tonight’s 2024 season-opener between the Lake County Captains and the West Michigan Whitecaps has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The two teams will play a seven-inning doubleheader on Saturday, April 6. First pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 4 p.m., followed by first pitch for Game 2 scheduled for 7 p.m. Gates will open at 3 p.m.

Lake County will be celebrating its “Total Eclipse of the Park” at Classic Auto Group Park on Saturday.

Tickets for tonight’s game can be exchanged for any 2024 regular-season home game at the box office.

Both games will be broadcasted on both the Bally Live app and MiLB.TV, with social media coverage courtesy of @LCCaptains on both X and Instagram.
