PNC Bank and the Lake County Captains Launch Innovative Small Business Support Program for 2024 Season

Eastlake, OH , March 12, 2024 – The Lake County Captains announced the launch of a pioneering small business support program for the upcoming season in collaboration with PNC Bank. The initiative, named Going to Bat for Small Business, is designed to bolster small businesses across Northeast Ohio.

Going to Bat for Small Business underscores the commitment of both the Captains and PNC to the local economy by offering substantial support to the small business community. Three winning businesses will be selected in May to receive a comprehensive hospitality and marketing package valued at over $10,000.

“Small businesses are the cornerstone of our communities and play a critical role in fueling economic growth, job creation, innovation and diversity,” said Pat Pastore, PNC
regional president for Cleveland. “We are proud to team up with the Captains for this program as we understand how critical these businesses are to making Northeast Ohio a place we all feel proud to call home.” Winners will enjoy a luxury suite for company events, two rookie season ticket packages and a specialized small business marketing package designed to elevate their brand visibility and engagement within the community.
