As we approach the last few days until Opening Day 2016, I wanted to introduce myself to some of you who are new to the Midwest League and review some League Policies which I believe will help all of us to have a the best season ever by making the Play on the field as good as we all want it to be. One of the themes I wanted to stress is although many of you will be competing vigorously for our League Championship and to have the best box office ever, there are things we can do as a group to help all of us achieve our goals. The all of "us" includes farm directors, managers, coaches, players, umpires, ownership, general managers and their staffs, and perhaps most importantly the League Office and your President. As I begin my second year as President, I am very excited about our future based in large part on how well we have done in the past, and the great capacity of the Midwest League to be open to do things even better.
Richard A. Nussbaum, II
President, Midwest League
