Bank of America Honors Jason Cooper

September 3, 2008
Bank of America is proud to recognize the efforts of the Buffalo Bisons players and front office staff in the Western New York community. They would like to especially thank Herd outfielder Jason Cooper for his contributions both on the field and off.

On Fan Appreciation Night at Dunn Tire Park, Cooper was named the Frank J. "Fremo" Vallone Community Service Award for the third consecutive season.

For five seasons with the Bisons, Cooper has become a fan-favorite for his efforts off the field as well as his play on it. All season long, Cooper has been one of the first Bisons players to volunteer to give back to the Western New York community. He was also a major part of the Bisons youth baseball clinics and academies during the season.

Cooper has also broken a Bisons Modern Era record by playing in 410 games with the team. He now ranks in the Bisons Top 10 in hits, doubles, triples, home runs, RBI, walks and runs scored.
