Cubs No. 4 prospect Kris Bryant made his first hit of the spring count, connecting on a long two-run homer off reliever Jarrett Grube in the seventh inning of the Angels' 15-3 romp. The third baseman, selected second overall in last year's Draft, was one of four top Cubs prospects to see action in the defeat, joining Javier Baez (No. 1), Albert Almora (No. 2) and Jorge Soler (No. 3).

Sanchez is ranked No. 4 among catching prospects after hitting .253/.324/.412 for Class A Advanced Tampa and Double-A Trenton as a 21-year-old last season.
