Giants Announce July 4th Fireworks Celebration

95.3 KRTY's All-American Country Jam at Muni Stadium with Fireworks presented by Comcast

SAN JOSE, CA- The San Jose Giants are proud to announce they will host the Independence Day Fireworks Show for the residents of San Jose. The celebration will take place at Municipal Stadium on July 4th following the 95.3 KRTY's All-American Country Jam. The concert is headlined by Country Music Artist Chris Cagle and will include a performance by Ash Bowers. Comcast has provided additional funding to present the fireworks show and United Site Services is supplying the necessary support facilities which will allow the local community to watch the show for free. San Jose State University along with Happy Hollow Park & Zoo and Kelley Park are leading the efforts to open the South Campus area for local citizens to watch the fireworks.

"Comcast is excited to once again partner with the San Jose Giants and the City of San Jose for the second year to help celebrate the Fourth of July," said Comcast Hometown Network's Jeff Giles. "Comcast's sponsorship of the Bay Area's largest city's Independence Day celebration is part of our ongoing involvement in the local communities where we live and work."

"Thanks to the collective efforts of Comcast, KRTY, SJSU, United Site Services and Happy Hollow, we are able to provide an extended free fireworks show to the region and a great concert to celebrate our nation's birthday."

Tickets for 95.3 KRTY's All-American Country Jam go on sale Thursday, May 6th at 10:00 AM. Tickets will be available for purchase online at www.sjgiants.com, over the phone at (408) 297-1435 ext. 15 or in person at the Municipal Stadium Box Office, located at 588 East Alma Avenue (Senter and 10th), San Jose, CA 95112. On the day the concert tickets go on sale, fans can purchase tickets at $10 for General Admission Seats and $40 for VIP Ticket, the special pricing is only available on Thursday. On Friday ticket prices go to $15 for General Admission, $50 for VIP Tickets and the day of the show they will be $20 for General Admission and $60 for VIP Tickets. There is also a Firework Four Pack which includes four General Admission tickets for only $39.
