Hank Aaron Stadium now a Toys for Tots drop spot

November 14, 2012
The Mobile BayBears and the US Marine's Toys for Tots program are proud to announce a partnership to make Hank Aaron Stadium a drop spot for this season's holiday toy drive. The drive will begin at "The Hank" on Monday, November 26th and run through Thursday, December 20th. Anyone who makes a donation at the park during this time frame will be given complimentary admission to the Hank Aaron Childhood Home and Museum courtesy of American General Life.

In addition to the stadium, patrons may also donate toys and meet one of the BayBears mascots at the Belk's department store located in Bel-Air Mall on December 1st, 8th, and 15th from 1PM to 3PM.

Toys for Tots is a 501C-3 charity with local ties to the Mobile community. They request all donations be new and unwrapped toys. Toys for Tots does not have a list of specific items but asks that no toy be a realistic looking weapon or a gift with food.

The Mobile BayBears are the back to back Southern League Champions and the "AA" affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The BayBears home field is Hank Aaron Stadium, also the location of the Hank Aaron Childhood Home and Museum. The 2013 season opens at home on April 10th against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, season tickets and partial plans are available now at 251-479-2327 and more information is available at www.mobilebaybears.com
