BOISE, ID-The Boise Hawks are searching for Treasure Valley's own American Idol! The Hawks are holding National Anthem tryouts Saturday June 5 from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at Memorial Stadium, located at 5600 N. Glenwood Street. All singers and musicians are welcome.
Tryouts are open to the public; and prospective anthem singers can show up any time between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. There is no pre-registration required to participate.
Each audition will take place in front of the Boise Hawks staff, and the selected candidates will earn a chance to perform in front of thousands of fans during one of the Hawks 38 home games during the 2010 season.

The Hawks began Northwest League play as an independent club from 1987-89. The team was affiliated with the Anaheim Angels from 1990-2000 and has been with the Chicago Cubs since 2001.The Hawks are preparing for their 24th season of Northwest League play.
