GRAND CHUTE, WI - The final totals are in from a pair of jersey auctions held by the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.  A live auction following the final Sunday home game of the 2010 season and an online auction held after the season ended raised over $3,000 for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.  Fans bid on alternate, Brewers-themed jerseys worn by Timber Rattlers players for Sunday home games during the 2010 season.

The jersey that brought in the highest bid was that of Timber Rattlers slugger Chris Dennis.  A Rattlers fan purchased the jersey of Dennis for $275.  There were four other jerseys that went for more than $200 in the auction:

  • Scooter Gennett:      $250

  • Cutter Dykstra:         $225

  • Kentrail Davis:          $225

  • Andy Sauter:            $225

The design of these Timber Rattlers jerseys in 2010 was based on the jerseys worn by the Milwaukee Brewers in1982.

The proceeds - all $3,376.90 - from the auctions are going to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

The Timber Rattlers will be wearing a different Brewers themed jersey on Sundays during the 2011 season.

Opening Day for the 2011 season is Thursday, April 7.  Season ticket packages and tickets for groups of 20 or more are available now by calling 800-WI-TIMBER or by stopping at the Time Warner Cable Field ticket office from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
