Berrios enters his third season as a pitching coach within Dodgers organization. He spent the 2012 season with Great Lakes (A) and 2011 with Rancho Cucamonga (A+). Prior to his current stint with the Dodgers organization, Berrios spent 13 seasons between the Blue Jays' (1998-2002) and Mets' (2003-10) minor league systems. Berrios pitched professionally from 1984-92 for the affiliates of five different teams. He went a combined 31-25 with three saves and a 3.90 ERA over his career.

Franchuk will also be experiencing his first year as a member of the Lookouts coaching staff. He has an extensive resume as a scout and coach for several organizations. His history includes serving as a scout for the Cincinnati Reds from 1977-84; scout and hitting coach for the California Angels' system from 1988-94; hitting coach (1995-97), roving hitting and catching coordinator (1998-2001), and manager of the Vancouver Canadians (2002) for the Oakland Athletics organization; minor league hitting coordinator for Boston (2003-6) and Houston (2007-8); and hitting coach for the San Antonio Missions (2009) and Portland Beavers (2010) in the Padres organization. Most recently, he served as the manager of the Edmonton Capitals (Independent) in 2011. Additionally, he coached the Canadian National Team at the 1978 Amateur World Series, as well as the 1981 Intercontinental Cup and 2007 World Baseball Cup teams. Franchuk, a Canadian native, was inducted into the Edmonton Sports Hall of Fame in 2008. He received his Masters in Education from Long Beach State University and had a 24-year career with the Edmonton Public School system.

The Chattanooga Lookouts begin their 2013 regular season on April 4h against the Huntsville Stars at AT&T Field.
