Mets Fall Short in Playoff Series Against Jupiter

Despite a fifth inning rally, the St. Lucie Mets came up short as the Jupiter Hammerheads came away with an 11-7 victory to win the Florida State League South Division Championship.

The Hammerheads advance to the Florida State League Championship against the Lakeland Flying Tigers.

The Mets trailed 6-1 in the fifth before scoring five runs to tie the score.

The Hammerheads responded with a three-run sixth and added two runs in the eighth to pull away.

The Hammerheads had a three-run first inning against Chase Huchingson.

Danny Muno went 3-for-5 with two RBIs. Alonzo Harris homered and drove in two runs. Richard Lucas finished 3-for-4 with a double. Cesar Puello homered and had two hits.
