WHO'S HOT: RHP Luis Montano took a no-hitter into the seventh inning of a 3-1 win over Cedar Rapids Tuesday, but ended up settling for a one-hitter. He is 3-0 with a 1.61 ERA in four starts with 14 strikeouts in 22 1/3 innings.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK: "I was mad at myself after that hit," Montano told MLB.com of the RBI-triple that broke up his no-hit bid. "I wanted to throw a no-hitter."
LEAGUE HONORS: LHP Jeremy Horst was named the Midwest League Pitcher of the Week for the period of April 14-20. Horst threw six scoreless innings on the week, allowing just one hit and a walk while striking out 11.
