The International League has begun releasing its “all decade” information and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees skipper Dave Miley just topped the list of winningest managers

The International League has begun releasing its “all decade” information and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees skipper Dave Miley just topped the list of winningest managers.

 

Miley piloted Louisville from 2000-2003, Columbus in 2006, and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre from 2007 through the present. Overall he compiled a 618-493 (.557) record with five 1st place finishes and Governors’ Cup Championships in 2001 and 2008. He was one of only three skippers to win two championships in the decade joining Toledo’s Larry Parrish and Durham’s Bill Evers.

 

In three seasons with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, he is 253-175 (.591) and has guided his club to three straight IL North titles and one league championship.

 

Former Scranton/Wilkes-Barre manager Marc Bombard was 2nd in the decade behind Miley in games managed and wins.
