Miracle unveil 20th Anniversary jersey

Team will wear jerseys every Friday and Saturday home game
March 29, 2012
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The home opener on Friday, April 6 will kick-off a season-long tribute to the 20th Anniversary Season of when the team moved from Pompano Beach to Fort Myers in 1992.

Along with numerous promotions from that first season, the Miracle will also wear full throwback uniforms from 1992 every Friday and Saturday home game.

The Miracle worked with Dan Simon of Studio Simon, who also designed the new Miracle look that was unveiled in 2011, to re-create the teal and yellow hat and uniforms from that first season.

Fans will have the opportunity all season-long to bid on the jerseys with part of the proceeds going directly to the Dave Clark Foundation.

The foundation is near and dear to the hearts of the Miracle. Each year the Miracle, with the assistance of Clark, host a Special Needs Camp giving physically and mentally challenged children the opportunity to interact with Miracle players in a camp setting.

The Cape Coral, Florida resident and polio survivor is a former professional baseball scout and currently spends his time promoting his foundation around the country.
