By Pawtucket Red Sox | May 11, 2012 12:43 PM

The Pawtucket Red Sox and Ocean State Networks are pleased to announce that OSN will televise ten PawSox home games live from McCoy Stadium this season. The first telecast will be Monday, May 14 when the PawSox host Columbus at 12:05 pm. The games can be found on Cox Cable channel 5 and in high-def on channel 1005.

PawSox radio broadcaster Aaron Goldsmith will handle the TV play-by-play while former PawSox and Red Sox reliever Ken Ryan will be the color analyst.

WJAR / NBC 10 and Cox Communications joined forces earlier this month to launch Ocean State Networks on Cox channel 5 and in HD on Cox channel 1005. OSN is exclusively available to Cox customers.

"We are proud to be the inaugural sports program on OSN and to team with our great partners, NBC 10 and Cox Communications, to bring an exciting television schedule of PawSox Baseball to the community," said PawSox president Mike Tamburro.

Vic Vetters, VP/General Manager of WJAR / NBC 10 said, "The PawSox are a Rhode Island institution. OSN is all about local programming. Adding PawSox games to our line-up is a great fit."

"New England sports fans are the best in the country, and our customers are avid supporters of the PawSox," said Doreen Studley, vice president of marketing at Cox New England. "We're pleased to be able to present live PawSox games, joining the already extensive live local sports coverage on OSN."
