Rockies outfield prospect Kyle Parker came off the bench for Drew Stubbs and went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and five RBIs. The effort raised Parker's average to .294 and gave him six RBIs in 17 Cactus League at-bats. Tim Wheeler and Rosell Herrera added a hit and a run scored apiece. For the Royals, left-hander Donnie Joseph struck out two in a perfect eighth inning.

Jackie Bradley Jr. delivered a two-out two-run single in the second inning Sunday afternoon as the Red Sox cruised past the host Pirates, 4-1. Bradley, who was 1-for-4 in the game, began the day just 1-for-12 in his previous four contests. Boston's first three pitchers -- Clay Buchholz, Andrew Miller and Dalier Hinojosa -- held the Pirates' split-squad hitless for the first six frames before Gregory Polanco opened the seventh with a hit off Rubby De La Rosa.
