Ports Promotion Schedule is Full of Fun!
Featuring several exciting giveaways, theme nights and 13 fireworks nights, the Stockton Ports released their 2011 promotions schedule today. The Ports season kicks off at home with fireworks on April 14th as the Ports take on the Modesto Nuts.
The Ports will offer three bobblehead nights throughout the season, including a Dallas Braden "209" bobble-belly giveaway presented by EZ Network Systems on Sunday, July 17th. This unique bobble-belly features a smiling Dallas Braden lifting his shirt to reveal his "209" tummy tattoo and wiggling at the waist. The Ports will also feature a Trevor Cahill bobblehead presented by the CHP on June 3rd, and a Grant Green bobblehead on July 1st.
Fans have more than just bobbleheads to be excited about this season as well. On July 8th the Ports will have a Jeremy Barfield "Rocket Arm" figurine giveaway. This figurine will feature a buffed up Barfield with a literal rocket for an arm.
"We are very excited about the promotions lineup for this summer," said Ports Director of Marketing, Jeremy Neisser. "From the great giveaways, fireworks, day of the week promotions and value based ticket packages, we have something for everyone this summer!"
The Ports schedule also features several exciting theme nights including Rolling Stones Night (May 21st) and a Father's Day celebration (June 19th). Ports fans can also help Splash the Mascot celebrate his birthday on August 7th with a Birthday Bash and a Splash toothbrush holder giveaway (first 1000 fans). The Ports will offer several Jersey auctions to coincide with theme nights, including an Stars and Stripes Cap Auction on July 2nd for Independence Weekend.
Other exciting promotions include:
- Opening Weekend Lunch Bag Giveaway presented by Jackson Rancheria (April 17th)-First 1000 fans
- Dock Day presented by Food 4 Less (June 18th)-Dock with the Ports for a Hawaiian Jersey Auction and fireworks!
- St. Joseph's Medical Center Pink Night (August 26th)-Help raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer!
- 2 for $1 Hot Dog Nights (July 9th, August 19th)-the name speaks for itself!
- 13 Fireworks shows!
The Ports are also adding two new recurring promotions to their lineup in 2011 with the introduction of $2 Buck Mondays and Ports Tuesd-A's. Experience baseball fun all season long for just $2 bucks on Mondays when tickets, sodas and hot dogs all cost just $2 bucks a pop.
Also new this season, the Ports are teaming up with their parent affiliate, the Oakland Athletics, to offer this unique ticket package. Ports fans can purchase an MVP ticket (a $12 value) to a Tuesday Ports game, and a plaza outfield ticket (an $18 value) to an A's weekend game for just $15.
2011 recurring promotions:
- $2 Buck Mondays: Tickets- $2 bucks! Hot Dogs-$2 bucks! Sodas- $2 bucks! Making Memories: Priceless!
- Ports Tuesd-A's: A Ports MVP ticket and an A's weekend game ticket for just $15 every Tuesday.
- SCAN Silver Sluggers Wednesdays: Silver Sluggers members receive free admittance. And they get to play Baseball Bingo sponsored by Food 4 Less!
- Thirsty Thursdays presented by O'Ryleigh's Tavern Stockton: Fans can enjoy a cold beverage for just $2 every Thursday until 8 p.m.
- 209 Sundays: Sunday games in the first half of the season will begin at 2:09 p.m.
Season tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting the Ports ticket office or calling (209) 644-1900. Individual tickets go on sale on March 19th.
