Promo Seminar to feature top execs

MLB, NBA, Louisville Slugger and MiLB personnel scheduled

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Minor League Baseball™ announced today that its lineup of speakers for its annual Promotional Seminar in Louisville, Ky., from September 24-26, will include representatives from Major League Baseball, including recently named Houston Astros President Reid Ryan, the National Basketball Association, Churchill Downs, the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory and MiLB™.

Ryan will participate in a Power Session, titled "The Road Ahead: What's Next?", with International League President Randy Mobley, Iowa Cubs President and General Manager Sam Bernabe, Atlanta Braves Senior Vice President & CFO Chip Moore and Joe Finley, who has ownership stakes in three highly successful MiLB clubs, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, Trenton Thunder and Lakewood BlueClaws. Two other Power Sessions will be held, one covering ticket trends and the other discussing the evolution of marketing within Minor League Baseball.

The Promo Seminar will also feature 11 presentations and more than two dozen other sessions, covering topics such as marketing, ticketing, sponsorships, promotions, media relations, technology and customer service. Among those who will be making presentations include Cleveland Cavaliers President of Business Operations Kerry Bubolz, Churchill Downs Director of Partner Activation and Licensing Lindsi Glass, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory Executive Director Anne Jewell and Cincinnati Reds Director of Ticket Client Services Craig Warman.

The three-day event also includes a trade show and job fair, as well as social and networking events, such as a cocktail party & silent auction and a ballpark outing at Louisville Slugger Field, home of the Louisville Bats.
