R-Phils Announce Community-Minded Partnership

(Reading, PA) -- The Reading Phillies are proud to announce that Dr. Robert Weston of Weston Center for Dental Health, will be the official sponsor of the brand-new Weston Center Winning Smiles Stage, after signing a multi-year contract earlier this week. The brand-new state-of-the-art stage will be the focal point of the R-Phils brand-new VIST Financial Plaza. The stage, which is part of the $10 Million Renovations at FirstEnergy Stadium, will be completed in time for the 2011 Reading Phillies season. 

"We are truly excited to partner with Dr. Weston," said R-Phils GM Scott Hunsicker. "This partnership is another great step in our $10 Million Renovations at America's Classic Ballpark, and it marks another great step in bringing fans an outstanding product in 2011 and beyond. Musical entertainment will be taken to the next level on the Weston Center Winning Smiles Stage, and will feature a state-of-the-art sound system. Reading Phillies fans can expect great performances on game days and non-game days. The stage, which will be the home to great bands such as the National Penn Bank R-Phils Mascot Band and many others, will also house great musical performances during the offseason.

In addition to all the great musical acts who have performed in the past at FirstEnergy Stadium, the Weston Center Winning Smiles Stage will also feature a Community Music Showcase. The showcase will feature school choruses & orchestras, glee clubs, youth bands, and much more from around the community.
