Rattlers finish in Top 25 in Minor League Baseball merchandise sales

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are on a hot streak both on and off the field. The Timber Rattlers team is fighting it out for a Midwest League playoff spot and the franchise has claimed a spot on Minor League Baseball's Top 25 list for best-selling merchandise for the fourteenth consecutive year.

Minor League Baseball lists the Top 25 teams in licensed merchandise sales from January 1 to December 31 every year.

The Timber Rattlers made the 2011 list that also included: Carolina Mudcats (AA); Charleston RiverDogs (A); Corpus Christi Hooks (AA); Durham Bulls (AAA); Fort Wayne TinCaps (A); Greensboro Grasshoppers (A); Lake Elsinore Storm (High-A); Lakewood BlueClaws (A); Lansing Lugnuts (A); Lehigh Valley IronPigs (AAA); Louisville Bats (AAA); Midland RockHounds (AA); Myrtle Beach Pelicans (A); Omaha Storm Chasers (AAA); Pawtucket Red Sox (AAA); Portland Sea Dogs (AA); Reno Aces (AAA); Richmond Flying Squirrels (AA); Rochester Red Wings (AAA); Round Rock Express (AAA); Sacramento River Cats (AAA); Salt Lake Bees (AAA); Toledo Mud Hens (AAA); and Trenton Thunder (AA).

Wisconsin has been in the Top 25 in Minor League Baseball for merchandise sold sixteen times since the franchise became the Timber Rattlers in 1995.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers team store is located at the Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium and is open on non-game days from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 3pm on Saturdays.  Fans may check out all of the latest gear 24 hours a day on timberrattlers.com.
