Three Strikes (0:30)
- Tyler and Sam start off the latest podcast by recapping last week's Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Sam talks about what it was like to be in the Draft room for the first day of picks, and both guys go over which draftees could be on the fast track to the Majors.
- Moving back to the Minors, top overall prospect Lucas Giolito appears to be over his early struggles at Double-A Harrisburg and set a career high with 12 strikeouts in a start last week. The co-hosts discuss what Giolito has done to find his control and what it all means for the rest of his 2016 campaign.
- Finally, three Class A Short Season and Rookie-level circuits (New York-Penn, Northwest, Pioneer) begin their seasons Friday, leading Tyler and Sam to discuss how those leagues operate and what type of prospects will likely play there this summer.
