Triangle Orthopaedic Associates Named Partner of the Year
On April 3rd, the Durham Bulls hosted the First Annual Sponsor Award Ceremony highlighting the outstanding sponsors from the 2011 season.
The awards were organized in 5 categories including: Best In-game sponsored Element, Best Cause Marketing Campaign, Most Creative Fan Engagement, Most Outstanding Game Day Sponsor, and Rookie of the Year. There was a panel of 3 judges selected outside of the Bulls organization to vote on the winners from each category. The panel consisted of long time Season Ticket Holder, Lewis Bowles, the Chief Operating Officer at McKinney Advertising, Joni Madison, and the founder and CEO of Intangibles, LLC, Matt West. The judges were given a write up of each promotion and were put to a vote to select a winner in each category.
Nominees for Best In-game Sponsored Element included: Sport Durst Automotive Group, Bayer CropScience, Clegg's Pest Control, Carolina Hurricanes, and Tire King. In the Best Cause Marketing Campaign category, the nominees were Quintiles, Implus, Five Guys, Partnership for a Drug-Free NC, and Whole Foods Market. The Most Creative Fan Engagement nominees were Moe's Southwest Grill, Humana, CPI Security, University Kia, and State Farm Insurance. For the Most Outstanding Game Day Sponsor nominees included: Chick-Fil-A, RE/MAX, Great Clips, Wells Fargo, and YMCA. The Rookie of the Year category was set to highlight the new 2011 partners and the nominees consisted of Carpe Diem Cleaning, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, Theo Davis Printing, Time Warner Cable, and Triangle Orthopaedic Associates.
Bayer CropScience was the winner of the Best In-game Sponsored Element award, Implus was selected for the Best Cause Marketing Campaign, and Moe's Southwest Grill was the winner for Most Creative Fan Engagement. For Most Outstanding Game Day Sponsor, the award went to Chick-Fil-A, and Carpe Diem Cleaning was chosen for Rookie of the Year. The Bulls announced that Triangle Orthopaedic was the winner for the Partner of the Year award.
Triangle Orthopaedic Associates is proud to be "Celebrating 60 Years of Orthopaedic Excellence." Triangle Ortho has offices in over 7 counties throughout North Carolina including, Caswell, Durham, Granville, Johnston, Orange, Person, and Wake County. With more than 115 providers in 13 offices across the region, they are available to make a difference and help people overcome injuries. For the Bulls, it has been a tremendous opportunity to work with the largest private orthopeadic practice in the Carolinas. Triangle Ortho was represented in several different contexts last season with the Bulls' through signage, the Play Ball program, radio, Game Day Sponsor elements, pocket schedules, on-field promotions in measuring the speed of each pitch, drink cups, and an online presence on the Bulls' website.
