The Mudcats debuted an all new patriotic themed home jersey on Memorial Day, May 29 at Five County Stadium. The game worn patriotic themed jerseys are currently available via online auction at auctions.carolinamudcats.com. The net proceeds of the online jersey auction benefit Hire Heroes USA.

The patriotic themed jerseys were worn by the Mudcats during the Mudcats for America Series on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 at Five County Stadium. The Mudcats additionally played in the new limited edition home jerseys on Friday, August 18 for Military Appreciation Night and will once again wear them on Monday, September 4 for Labor Day.
