Unique feature

Salem Red Sox, Single-A:
Although every other affiliate has a replica of the Green Monster in left field, Salem is happy to go without a high wall that would diminish the effects of its beautiful natural setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The result is the best view in all of Single-A ball. (Salem does have a mini-Monster in its mini-Fenway Wiffle-ball field on the third-base side.) Read more »

Worcester Red Sox, Triple-A:
The WooSox prioritize getting local vendors into Polar Park, and the most beloved is probably George’s Coney Island Hot Dogs – a Worcester favorite going back to a big year in Boston sports history: 1918. A frankfurter from George’s comes slathered in chili sauce and topped with mustard and chopped onions. Read more »

Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A:
Slugger, a harbor seal out of nearby Casco Bay, is known for his Chaplin-esque physical comedy and one-of-a-kind dance moves. He’s guaranteed to get laughs, but don’t sleep on his athleticism. Read more »

Best local attraction

Greenville Drive, High-A:
Falls Park on the Reedy is a lush municipal park full of gardens, public art, winding trails and more. The perfect spot to take a stroll before a Drive game, it’s about a 10-minute walk down Main Street from Fluor Field. Read more »
