The Pigs will send RHP
RHP Tom Eshelman , who recently celebrated his 23rd birthday on June 20, makes his ninth start for the Pigs tonight. In his last outing, the reigning International League Pitcher of the Month picked up his fifth win in a 5-2 victory over the Syracuse Chiefs on June 17. He tossed seven innings, allowing just two earned runs on six hits while fanning three batters.
RHP Yohan Pino makes his sixth start of the season for the Red Wings after suffering the loss in his last start on June 17 against the Pawtucket Red Sox. In that outing, Pino tossed seven 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on four hits while walking a pair and striking out three.
Trailing 3-1 in the top of the ninth, the Pigs offense exploded for a five-run rally to take a 6-3 lead.

The Pigs opened up the scoring on the night as Crawford plated Aguila on a RBI groundout to give the Pigs an early 1-0 lead in the top of the third.

The Chiefs added another run in the bottom of the fifth inning, as Heiker Menses sent a ground-rule double to left field to score Mike Miller.

Venditte took over the pitching duties in the seventh inning, as the switch-pitcher tossed two scoreless innings issuing just two walks. The Omaha, Neb., native picked up his International League leading seventh win of the season in the Pigs 6-3 comeback win.
With the win, the Pigs swept the Paw Sox for the first time at McCoy Stadium in franchise-history.
