CLEARWATER, Fla. – Casey Martin went 2-for-3 with three RBI in the Threshers' Thursday night triumph over the Tampa Tarpons.

The teams traded two spots in the second inning. Tampa (23-10) loaded the bases and walked in one run, followed by an RBI single by Anthony Volpe that put the Tarpons ahead 2-0. Clearwater (18-15) answered with a two-run home run off the bat of Juan Aparicio tying the game at two apiece.

The Threshers broke the tie in the third inning. Johan Rojas hit a sharp groundball double into center field and was brought home with an RBI single from Martin to give the Threshers a 3-2 lead.

Clearwater added to the advantage in the fourth inning. Yhoswar Garcia and Luis Garcia drew consecutive walks and then both swiped a base to put runners at second and third with one out.
