The Colorado Springs Sky Sox got back in the win column, evening their series with the Round Rock Express with a 4-2 win in game one of Thursday's day/night doubleheader at Security Service Field.

The Colorado Springs Sky Sox have announced that LHP Wei-Chung Wang has been named the Sky Sox Pitcher of the Month, while outfielder Brett Phillips and infielder Garrett Cooper have been named Co-Players of the Month, for the month of May.

The Colorado Springs Sky Sox snapped their two-game losing streak, rallying with two runs in the sixth inning to defeat the New Orleans Baby Cakes, 7-6, in front of 2,505 at Security Service Field Thursday night.

Brett Phillips recorded his second two-homer game of 2017, while Wei-Chung Wang drove in the winning run and earned the win on the mound to lead the Colorado Springs Sky Sox to a 15-11 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas in front of 5,683 at Southwest University Field.
