Chiefs Announce 2020 Appearances

Characters, Mascots, Concerts on Summer Schedule

PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Chiefs have announced their list of appearances for the 2020 season. A variety of mascots, movie characters, superheroes, dueling pianos and Christian-rock band Remedy Drive will be at Dozer Park in 2020. As a reminder, all dates are subject to change.

PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Chiefs have announced their list of appearances for the 2020 season. A variety of mascots, movie characters, superheroes, dueling pianos and Christian-rock band Remedy Drive will be at Dozer Park in 2020. As a reminder, all dates are subject to change.

   The Chiefs open up the month of May with a three-game series against South Bend that features two separate appearances. On Friday, May 1, St. Louis Cardinals mascot Fredbird and Chicago Cubs mascot Clark will both be in attendance for the Midwest League version of the Cards-Cubs rivalry series. On Sunday, May 3, A Royal Remembrance will bring Elsa and Anna to the ballpark, two of the main characters from Frozen. On Friday, May 22, various superheroes will be in the park as a part of Hero Night. Star Wars Night is on Friday, May 29 and members of the 501st Midwest Garrison will return with a variety of characters from the popular film franchise.
   Faith and Family Night takes places on Saturday, June 20 and Christian-rock band Remedy Drive will perform following the game and fireworks. The band's song, "All Along," topped R&R's Christian Contemporary hit radio chart in 2009.
   The month of July is a busy month for appearances. Characters from the movie Ghostbusters will be on hand on Wednesday, July 1. On Sunday, July 5, there will be an appearance from the Minions, the characters made popular by the movie Despicable Me. Later in the month, there will be three appearances in a four-day span. On Wednesday, July 22, Barnyard Discoveries will bring a petting zoo for fans of all ages to enjoy. On Friday, July 24, Dueling Pianos will be back for another season and will perform popular songs from the top of the dugouts throughout the game. The following night, Santa Claus comes to town in conjunction with Christmas in July.
   August brings three more appearances to Dozer Park. On Sunday, August 9, A Royal Remembrance's Princess Night takes place at Dozer Park. The princesses provided by A Royal Remembrance are still to be determined. As a part of Homer's birthday celebration on Sunday, August 16, all of Homer's friends will be in attendance. Characters from Spider Hill will be back for Fright Night, which will be held on Thursday, August 27.
   Additional theme nights for the 2020 season will announced later this month. The Chiefs have already announced their bobblehead schedule, giveaways and specialty jerseys for the upcoming season.
Chiefs Season & Group Tickets
      Season ticket packages and group tickets for the 2020 season are currently on sale by calling 309-680-4000. The 2020 season kicks off April 9 in Davenport, Iowa with the home opener against the Beloit Snappers set for Monday, April 13 at 6:35 p.m. Individual game tickets will go on sale in early March.
