Kilen, Ceballlos lead Squirrels to comeback win
BOWIE, Md. – Gavin Kilen had four hits and Sabin Ceballos hit two homers to help the Richmond Flying Squirrels to a 7-4 win over the Chesapeake Baysox on Wednesday night at Prince George’s Stadium.

The Flying Squirrels (67-47, 24-22 second half) picked up their 34th come-from-behind win of the season and scored six runs in the final two innings against the Baysox (55-59, 26-20 second half).

With the score tied, 4-4, entering the top of the ninth, Jean Carlos Sió led off with a walk and scored on a two-out double by Gavin Kilen to give the Flying Squirrels the lead against Baysox reliever Alex Pham (Loss, 0-2).
Kilen went 4-for-5, tying his career high for hits. He hit his 37th double of the year, tied for the most in MiLB.

Ceballos followed with a two-run homer, his second of the game and 15th of the season, to pad the lead to 7-4. He also walked twice in the game to bring his season total to 62, tied for the third-most in a season in Flying Squirrels franchise history.
Tyler Vogel (Win, 8-2) struck out two in a 1-2-3 bottom of the ninth to finish the game.
The Baysox struck first with back-to-back two-out doubles by Tavian Josenberger and Vance Honeycutt in the bottom of the second for a 1-0 lead.

In the top of the fourth, Ceballos hit a solo homer to tie the score, 1-1.
Trystan Vrieling allowed one run over his first five innings before the Baysox jumped ahead in the sixth. After a one-out single and back-to-back walks to load the bases, Griff O’Ferrall bunted for a single to plate a run and give the Baysox a 2-1 lead.
Vrieling worked a groundout and a strikeout to strand the bases loaded. He finished his outing with two runs allowed over six innings with six strikeouts.
The Baysox loaded the bases with one out against Ryan Vanderhei in the bottom of the seventh before he worked a double-play groundout from Anderson De Los Santos to escape the jam. Dating back to June 20, Vanderhei is 2-0 with a 0.44 ERA (1 ER/20.1 IP) in 15 outings.

The Flying Squirrels took a 4-2 lead in the top of the eighth inning. Trevor Cohen led off with a double and scored on a single by Dayson Croes to tie the score.

Later in the eighth, Charlie Szykowny drove a two-run single to give Richmond a two-run lead.
The Baysox responded with a two-out, two-run single by Fernando Pegero in the bottom of the eighth to even the score, 4-4.
The series continues Thursday night. Right-hander Yunior Marte (1-4, 4.32) will start for Richmond opposed by Chesapeake right-hander Anthony Eyanson (2-0, 3.48). First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. at Prince George’s Stadium.
