Altoona, PA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels and Altoona Curve were postponed due to inclement weather on Wednesday evening at Peoples Natural Gas Field in Altoona, PA. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, August 25. Game one of the doubleheader will begin at 4 p.m., and both contests will be seven inning affairs. Richmond returns to The Diamond tomorrow to begin a four-game series against the Harrisburg Senators (Nationals). Thursday is a special Michael Robinson Bobblehead Giveaway presented by The Good Feet Store (1st 1,000 fans 15+). The Flying Squirrels honor all first responders on this Sunday afternoon. Kids Club members get in for free and fans can play catch on the field from 12:15-12:35 p.m. presented by Nesquik. Kids Run the Bases after the game presented by Richmond Magazine. Stick around after the game for the annual Guns & Hoses charity softball game. Gates open at 12 p.m.
